Religious Discrimination
- The “Interfaith Youth Tour” program in the United States is an example of promotion of human rights to address the issue of religious discrimination.
- This program is organised by the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, a non-profit organisation working towards promoting understanding and respect among religions.
- The goal of this program is to encourage and advocate tolerance, respect, and understanding among different religions and to combat religious discrimination and prejudice.
- The program helps to break down stereotypes and misconceptions and to promote empathy and compassion by exposing young people to different religious traditions.
